This grid works brilliantly as a turn taking game with a communication partner, and is a way of moving a MyChoicePad user on from single sign use to short sentences. The partners take turns to place a familiar, known item into a bag while the partner has eyes closed. The ‘speaker’ uses MyChoicePad to remind of the question. The communication partner ‘models’ speaking the full sentence ‘what can you see?’ while signing the key words. It’s the other persons job to formulate the answer. ‘I (can) see…….(name the object in the bag).
Great for MyChoicePad users of any age. Helps focus on practicing nice simple sentences of 3 parts, including a very useful question word.
